TRX to PayPal: how to move TRON to a PayPal balance
You cannot send TRX straight to PayPal. A PayPal account has no TRON address, and PayPal's own crypto feature, where it is offered, holds a short list of coins that does not include TRX. Anything sent to an address that PayPal did not give you is lost.
So moving TRX to PayPal is always two steps: turn the TRX into ordinary money, then move that money into PayPal. The routes below do that with the fewest fees and the least risk.
Route 1: exchange, bank, then PayPal
This is the safest route for most people. Send your TRX to a regulated exchange that supports your local currency. Sell the TRX for that currency, withdraw it to your bank account, then add money to PayPal from the same bank account, or simply pay from the bank directly.
You pay the exchange's trading fee, a small TRON network fee to deposit, and sometimes a bank withdrawal fee. Bank transfers usually arrive in one to three business days.
Route 2: exchange, then card
Some exchanges issue a debit card or let you withdraw to a card. If your PayPal account accepts that card, you can link it and top up PayPal from the card balance. Check the card's fees and whether PayPal supports cards in your country before relying on this.
Route 3: peer-to-peer sale
On a P2P marketplace a buyer sends you money and you release TRX from escrow. Only accept PayPal payments on a platform that explicitly supports PayPal as a payment method and protects sellers. A PayPal payment can be reversed weeks later through a chargeback after your TRX is gone, which is why many P2P desks do not allow PayPal at all.
If your TRX comes from FomoEarn
Skip the conversion. FomoEarn pays out to PayPal directly, as well as to TRX, USDT (BEP-20), and Telegram Stars. Every method has a $0.01 minimum and no FomoEarn withdrawal fee, so choosing PayPal on the Payouts page avoids exchange and network fees entirely.
Avoid instant TRX-to-PayPal exchangers
Websites and Telegram bots that promise to swap TRX into your PayPal balance instantly are a common scam. You send TRX first and nothing comes back. Use an exchange you can verify, and never share a PayPal login or a wallet seed phrase with anyone.
To see what your TRX is worth before you sell, use the TRX to USD converter. Rates there are mid-market estimates, so expect slightly less after the exchange's spread and fees.
